A storage routine starts with the instructions on the specific pack. Dried meat treats, freeze-dried cubes, wet soup and lickable treats need different handling after opening.
Keep dried treats away from moisture
Close the pack after use and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If you use a separate container, keep it clean and dry and retain the original packaging. Avoid mixing an old batch with a newly opened pack.
Refrigerate opened soup
Furrito chicken and tuna-flavoured soups should be refrigerated after opening and used within 24 hours, according to their storage instructions. Keep the remainder covered. Put it away promptly instead of leaving the pouch on the counter between meals.
Check each type of pack
For creamy treats, follow the tube's own instructions after opening. Do not apply the soup's 24-hour instruction to every Furrito product. Note when you opened a pack if that helps you follow its stated limit.
Keep useful information and check condition
Retain the product name, batch number and best-before date until the food is finished. Discard food with an unusual odour, mould or damaged packaging. Keep all supplies out of pets' reach, and wash bowls and utensils after use.
