A lickable treat can turn a quiet moment into a small shared ritual. Let your cat approach willingly and offer a little at a time, rather than expecting them to finish the whole tube.
Know the serving format
Furrito creamy chicken and fish lickable treats come in packs of five 12 g tubes. The 60 g outer pack contains several portions. These products are complementary feed for adult cats and should be offered alongside complete food.
Let your cat set the pace
Squeeze a little onto a clean dish or spoon. If offering directly from the tube, hold it securely and prevent your cat from biting or swallowing the packaging. Pause when your cat moves away. A treat should be an invitation, not a reason to hold them still.
Keep rewards modest
Count lickable treats together with any other treats your cat receives. WSAVA recommends keeping treats below 10% of daily calories. Check the pack's feeding instructions; one tube is not automatically the right daily amount for every cat.
Check the recipe and clean up
Read the full ingredient list, especially if your cat avoids particular ingredients. A flavour name does not mean a single-protein recipe. Follow the pack's instructions for any opened product, wash the serving dish and dispose of the empty tube where your cat cannot reach it.
