A good poop bag is easy to open, large enough to use comfortably and leaves room for a secure knot. The right pack size and a convenient dispenser make everyday walks simpler.
Start with how you walk your dog
Keep a roll by the lead and carry a few spare bags. A dispenser is useful if bags otherwise end up at the bottom of a pocket. Check that it stays closed and that you can pull out one bag without unrolling the rest.
Before buying refills, check the roll’s size and core against your dispenser. Do not assume every roll fits every holder.
Compare bags, not just rolls
Rolls can contain different numbers of bags. PuppyClean’s compostable pack contains 120 bags on eight rolls, or 15 per roll. The three-roll pack contains 60 bags, or 20 per roll. The eight-roll refill pack contains 160 bags, also 20 per roll. The dispenser set includes four rolls and 80 bags.
For example, at two bags a day, 60 bags last about 30 days and 120 bags about 60 days. Actual use varies, so keep a reserve rather than waiting until the last roll runs out.
Check the bag before using it
Tear gently along the perforation, open the bag fully and check for damage. Collect the waste, turn the bag inside out and tie it securely. Carry it to a suitable bin if there is none nearby; never leave a filled bag beside a path.
Choose the material with disposal in mind
PuppyClean PC5001 is the compostable option. Compostability does not make a filled bag suitable for every food-waste bin or a backyard compost pile. Read the separate disposal guide before choosing a bag on that basis.
