A cup can look clean while residue remains inside its straw or lid. Make taking it apart part of your routine rather than washing only the outside.
Separate the removable parts
Empty Britton straw cup, 270 ml or Britton soft-spout cup, 150 ml after use. Remove the lid and detachable parts as instructed, rinse away residue and wash all the surfaces you can reach. Do not use a sharp object to widen a straw, valve or spout opening.
Use the stated washing method
The listed Britton cups and Britton Berry food feeder, 6m+ allow washing on the dishwasher's top rack. Britton Easy-Roll bib can also be washed in warm soapy water and rinsed. Check your particular product's instructions before boiling, sterilising or using a different dishwasher setting; one care instruction does not apply to every accessory.
Dry before putting parts together
Let separate parts dry before reassembling or storing them. Close a clean, dry set for travel. A cap protects an already clean accessory; it does not clean one with food left inside.
Replace worn parts
Inspect silicone, mesh and fastenings for cracks, tears or looseness. Britton replacement straws, 2 pieces and Britton replacement spouts, 2 pieces may help maintain a compatible cup, but check the model and fit first. Replace a damaged accessory rather than trying to repair it with glue. Keep detached small parts away from children.
